Prime Holding (Part of Wiser Technology) aims to tailor and continuously improve its work processes based on Agile and Lean software development principles as a software development service provider. These processes provide a unique work context and reflect that the roles and responsibilities expected of the project management staff have particular descriptions, as listed below. It is usual for the same person to act in either role depending on the project's needs. In some cases both roles are being acted upon by the same person.

The role in a nutshell:

We are looking for a Product Manager with at least five years of hands-on experience with a profile combined between the role of a Project Manager and Project Owner:

The Product Manager is charged with communicating the customer's voice and achieving customer and market success. (S)He is externally focused and works on the long-term vision of the product. The product manager works closely with the tech lead and other stakeholders vested in the successful release of the product.

The Project Owner ensures that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standard (within agreed specifications). He/she also ensures that the project is effectively staffed and manages relationships with various groups (including all project contributors). The Project Owner is also responsible for managing the work of consultants, allocating and utilizing staffing efficiently, and maintaining a cooperative, motivated, and successful project team.

Responsibilities:

- Market and Competitive Analysis: Monitor market trends and competitive dynamics to inform product strategy and decision-making.
Stakeholder Alignment: Ensure alignment among all stakeholders on product vision and strategy to drive consensus and collaboration.
- Roadmap Management: Develop and manage the long-term product roadmap, aligning sales, marketing, implementations, clients, prospects, partners, and target audience. Express ideas as epics to guide development efforts.
- Support for Non-Technical Teams: Provide support and collaboration to non-technical teams such as sales and accounting to ensure product success.
- User Story Development: Work on user story development to capture product requirements and features from the user's perspective.
- Non-Functional Requirements Management: Identify and manage non-functional requirements, including constraints, dependencies, and quality attributes.
- Status Reporting and Feedback Gathering: Provide regular status reports to stakeholders and gather feedback to inform decision-making.
- Requirements Refinement and Visualization: Refine and visualize requirements using tools like BPMN, UMLs, and mockups to help developers understand the user flow and validate business flow completeness.
- Priority Definition: Define priority based on business value, return on investment, and cost vs. benefit analysis.
- Business Domain Knowledge Transfer: Provide necessary business domain knowledge to the team to support effective decision-making and implementation.
- Project Team Management: Lead and manage the project team, including recruiting project staff and consultants.
- Coordination and Planning: Coordinate partners and working groups engaged in project work, develop and maintain detailed project plans, and manage project deliverables.
Issue Management and Escalation: Record, manage, and escalate project issues, resolving cross-functional issues at the project level.
- Scope Management and Change Control: Manage project scope and change control processes, escalating issues as necessary.
- Progress Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor project progress and performance, providing status reports to the Director of Production and updating progress to the Management Board.
- Training and Consultancy Management: Manage project training and consultancy input within defined budgets.
- Closure Activities: Lead project retrospective and closure activities to capture lessons learned and ensure successful project completion.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English with a C1/C2 certificate.
Communication and Planning: Excellent business communication skills. Strong planning abilities to strategize and execute project initiatives effectively.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Proficient in analyzing complex issues and developing innovative solutions.
- Team Management: Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively, fostering collaboration and achieving project objectives.
- Negotiation and Risk Management:  Skilled in negotiation techniques and proficient in identifying and mitigating project risks.
- Project Management: Extensive experience in gathering and validating requirements, and managing projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline constraints. Proficiency in budgeting, estimations, and projections to support project planning and resource and staff allocation.
- Functional Specifications and Requirements Management: Ability to prepare detailed functional specifications with precise business requirements. Proficient in defining functional requirements as user stories and establishing clear acceptance criteria. Skilled in defining multiple use cases per requirement to ensure comprehensive coverage.
- Project Management Modes:  Familiarity with various project management methodologies and frameworks, including Agile, Waterfall, etc.
- Stakeholder Communication and Coordination: Proven track record of effective stakeholder communication, coordination, and feedback management.
- Business and Domain Analysis: Strong understanding of business and domain analysis principles to drive informed decision-making.
- Understanding of SDLC: Proficient understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and methodologies.
- Agile Software Development: Full understanding of the Agile principles and experience in managing them to practice.
- Agile Tools: Experience with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence, proficient in utilizing these platforms to facilitate project management and collaboration.
